Members' Assistance & Care Helpline (MACH)

Need help? Call MACH!

About MACH

The Law Society, as part of membership’s benefits, is launching a new one stop referral and information services for members – ‘Members’ Assistance & Care Helpline’. MACH provides members with a forum to turn for help or assistance when faced with issues at work or problems which may affect work.

How will MACH help you?

Members may call to speak confidentially* to us at 6530 0213. Calls are generally accepted from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. While we will endeavour to answer your call immediately, if our staff are responding to another call or matter, please do leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible or do call back at a later time. Upon understanding the issue(s) you face, and with your consent, we will help to refer you to the appropriate committee for advice/guidance or welfare scheme for assistance. If you prefer to e-mail us, you may also do so at membership@lawsoc.org.sg.

*please note that we may ask you for your name to verify that you qualify for assistance as a member of the Law Society.

What if I need Ethics Guidance?

If you require advice or guidance on an ethical issue, send an email to  ethics_enquiry@lawsoc.org.sg for your query to be referred to the Advisory Committee. In this regard, please refer to Part C of the Practice Direction 2.1.3 (Enquiries to Relevant Committee) for the guidelines on submitting a request to the Advisory Committee for ethical guidance.
