It is with profound sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news that our President of the Law Society of Singapore, Adrian Tan Gim Hai (57), passed away today.

Throughout his battle with cancer, which he was diagnosed with in March of 2022, Adrian exemplified extraordinary courage. Despite the immense challenges he faced, he continued to carry out his duties with resolve and cheerfulness, and never failed to grace us with his trademark humour.

Today, we not only mourn the loss of a distinguished leader but also grieve for a cherished friend and trusted comrade. Adrian’s absence leaves an indescribable void that cannot be filled. His memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We extend our deepest condolences to Adrian’s family and loved ones.

Rest in peace, dear Adrian. Your spirit and unwavering dedication will continue to inspire us all.
