Remya Aravamuthan is the Head of Chambers in High Street Chambers (f.k.a Remya. A Law Practice). High Street Chambers is focused on providing fuss-free practical solutions, excellent client care and quality work. Remya is a mediator at the Singapore Mediation Centre, is on the panel of Community Justice Centre’s Collaborative Justice Lawyers and Primary Justice Lawyers, Collaborative Family Practitioner, a Parenting coordinator at the Family Justice Court of Singapore and a therapeutic justice-trained and certified lawyer. She is also a Commissioner for Oaths in Singapore.

Before setting up her sole practice in 2015, Remya practiced at leading global law firms based in Singapore. She is a multiple award-winning Legal Aid Bureau lawyer and is listed by Asia Law Network.

Remya has an extensive legal experience of 30 years and is a qualified solicitor in Singapore, England and Wales (Rolls) and India. She had represented clients in many landmark and complex matters in the High Court, Family Justice Courts and State Courts. Remya is well-experienced in handling complex custody issues and contested matrimonial matters. Remya is experienced in Syariah divorces and represents clients in Syariah Court and MUIS (Board of Appeal) for Syariah matters.
