Career Path

A scheme under the Law Society’s Pastoral Care Support for younger practitioners to seek guidance on career and work related issues. This scheme is open to trainees as well as law graduates.

What is it?

Young practitioners can consult with our career guidance/counselling volunteer on career and work related issues. Career Path seeks to help you better understand (1) yourself and (2) your own strengths and weaknesses, in order for you to chart your own career path, and to address work related issues. This scheme is not intended to assist you with job placements or career transition.

Who mentors?

Volunteer trainee counsellors who are either currently still in practice or have a legal background.

How to volunteer?

Need a mentor?

Young practitioners who request for Career Counselling will be paired with a volunteer counsellor. All requests for Career Counselling will be kept confidential.
