Remya Aravamuthan is the Founder and Managing Director of High Street Chambers LLC, and one of Singapore’s most experienced and senior family law practitioners. With more than three decades of legal practice across Singapore, England & Wales, and India, she is recognised for her strategic advocacy, meticulous preparation, and unwavering commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.

Before founding High Street Chambers LLC, she practised with leading international law firms in Singapore, where she developed a broad practice encompassing complex commercial, family disputes, and corporate work in intellectual property.

She is widely recognised for her expertise in high-value and highly contentious family litigation, regularly appearing before the Family Justice Courts and the Supreme Court of Singapore. Her appellate experience have contributed to the development of Singapore family law jurisprudence.

Beyond family law, Remya advises and represents clients in insolvency and restructuring, intellectual property, Shariah law, and complex cross-border disputes. Her multidisciplinary experience enables her to deliver commercially sound and strategically effective legal solutions across a broad spectrum of contentious matters.

Her professional appointments reflect both the breadth of her expertise and her commitment to the administration of justice. She is a Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre, a Collaborative Family Practitioner, a trained Parenting Coordinator with the Family Justice Courts, a Community Justice Lawyer with the State Courts of Singapore, a Patent Agent, and a Commissioner for Oaths.

In recognition of her longstanding service to the community, Remya has been honoured by the Legal Aid Bureau with multiple Outstanding Contribution Award and the 10-Year Appreciation Award for her dedication to advancing access to justice.

Remya is fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi. She is known for combining strategic legal insight with practical commercial judgment, providing clients with clear, decisive, and results-oriented representation in matters where the stakes are at their highest.
