Suang is of Indonesian origin. He is a Raffles Institution alumnus and graduated with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore. He is proficient in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia. Suang advises on contentious matters including shareholder and corporate disputes, fraud and asset recovery, property disputes and employment matters. Suang is regularly instructed on matters with a Chinese or Indonesian connection.
Suang believes in giving back to society. He has been empanelled by the Supreme Court of Singapore as Lead Counsel in the Legal Assistance Scheme for Capital Offences. He is also Honorary Secretary of the Medico-legal Society of Singapore and Council Member for the Singapore Institute of Insurance Council.

Eugene Thuraisingam
Founding Director
Eugene Thuraisingam is the Founding Director of Eugene Thuraisingam Asia LLC, a boutique dispute resolution and criminal law firm based in Singapore. A seasoned litigator with over two decades of experience, Eugene is widely recognised for his fearless advocacy, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to justice; qualities that have positioned him at the forefront of both commercial litigation and high-stakes criminal defence in Singapore.
Eugene graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LL.B (Hons), earning a place on the Dean’s List. Called to the Singapore Bar in 2001, he trained at Allen & Gledhill and was made partner at the age of 31. He later joined Stamford Law Corporation, where he honed his skills in commercial litigation, before founding his own firm in 2012 with a vision to build a legal practice that champions both professional excellence and social responsibility.
His career has spanned a wide range of complex and high-profile cases, including corporate fraud, constitutional challenges, white-collar crime, and capital offences, many of which have contributed to significant developments in Singapore’s legal landscape. He is known not only for his legal acumen but also for his courage in defending difficult and often unpopular causes, particularly in the public interest sphere.
Today, Eugene focuses on public interest litigation and access to justice, an extension of his deeply held belief in the importance of fundamental liberties and the conviction that no cause or person should be denied justice. He continues to shape the firm’s vision, mentor its lawyers, and lead in cases that reflect his commitment to justice, fairness, and the public good.

Jerrie Tan
Director
Jerrie Tan is an experienced litigator who has acted in high-profile commercial disputes and high stakes criminal matters. Having successfully harmonised both practices, she has acted as Lead Counsel in the Supreme Court of Singapore and in various international arbitration proceedings with successful outcomes. Jerrie is also regularly instructed by corporations to conduct internal investigations into employee fraud and/or compliance related matters.
After spending 8 years in an international law firm, Jerrie brings with her a wealth of cross-border experience. Jerrie is fluent in Mandarin and has a particular focus serving Mandarin-speaking clients and clients based in China. In 2018, Jerrie was one of the 100 lawyers around the world selected to attend at Tsinghua University in China for a Continuing Legal Education course.
Jerrie teaches Advocacy to law graduates going to be called to the bar. She is also an Adjunct Fellow with the National University of Singapore, Centre for Pro Bono and Clinical Legal Education. Jerrie also contributes actively to the legal community, serving in the Criminal Advocacy Subcommittee and Criminal Legal Aid Scheme Committee.
Jerrie believes in justice for all. She is one of the youngest female lawyers to be appointed as a Lead Counsel by the Supreme Court of Singapore under the Legal Assistance Scheme for Capital Offences.

Johannes Hadi
Director
Johannes is described by clients as “persuasive” and “well-prepared”.
As a disputes specialist, he has acted at every level of the Singapore courts, including securing landmark appellate rulings before the Court of Appeal, high-profile acquittals at first instance, and major commercial wins such as a full S$1.5 million judgment in litigation tied to the GoTo Group IPO as lead counsel.
His forte is in criminal litigation and contentious investigations, and he has deep experience defending cases of complex fraud, public and private sector corruption, money-laundering, market manipulation, murder, sex crimes, and drug trafficking. He is also instructed in commercial litigation involving allegations of fraud, breach of director’s duties and other corporate misconduct.
He was educated at University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He has taught advocacy at the National University of Singapore and is frequently invited by Pro Bono SG to train fellow criminal practitioners.

Faraaz Amzar
Director
Faraaz is a disputes and investigations lawyer with strong public and private sector experience. His practice focuses on civil and criminal litigation, regulatory and internal investigations, and international arbitration.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2018 with First Class Honours, and has appeared on the Dean’s List on multiple occasions. He has also won subject prizes in International Commercial Litigation and Family Law.
Faraaz began his career at the Attorney-General’s Chambers, where he served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor. He subsequently clerked as a Justice’s Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Singapore, working on criminal, commercial, and constitutional decisions of significant public interest.
Faraaz was later appointed a Magistrate and Assistant Registrar of the State Courts, where he presided over civil proceedings including employment, tort, contract, construction and harassment cases. He has also presided over multiple tribunal trials in the Employment Tribunal and Small Claims Tribunal. During this period, he served as a legal tutor at the National University of Singapore, teaching Legal Analysis, Research and Communication.
In private practice, Faraaz was a member of a prestigious U.S law firm and subsequently a Magic Circle firm based in Singapore. He has advised U.S. Fortune 500 companies, pharmaceutical, and Big Tech clients on internal and regulatory investigations spanning multiple jurisdictions across South and Southeast Asia, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Indonesia. He also has experience in international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation at all levels of the Singapore courts.
