Ronald is an Advocate, Counsel, Strategist, and Technologist. He believes in serving people to bring about justice and peace.
Having moved on from dismantling electronic devices and coding computer games at age 10, Ronald found his calling as a lawyer and honed his legal craft at a Big Four firm, Rajah & Tann.
Ronald’s practice is in both disputes and transactional work, with a special interest in technology, finance, intellectual property (IP), and employment.
Ronald takes pride in being strategic, sharp, technically savvy, and bespoke.
In litigation and arbitration, Ronald has represented institutional and individual clients at all levels of the Singapore courts and various arbitration institutions and in a range of disputes, including multi-million-dollar investment claims, patent infringements, insolvency-related claims, director-shareholder disputes, succession disputes and cryptocurrency claims.
In his advisory and transactional practice, Ronald has advised clients in a wide range of areas, including technology, FinTech, MedTech, artificial intelligence (AI), data and privacy, Web3, IP, media, blockchain, digital assets, payment services, employment, investments and corporate finance, financial services, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), probate and estate administration, and legacy planning.

Khelvin spent 15 years at one of the Big Four firms, where he was a partner specialising in commercial litigation and arbitration. As a Director at Covenant Chambers, he now combines big firm expertise and sophistication with the agility and flexibility of a chambers model.
Khelvin’s practice has a particular focus on complex and cross-border commercial disputes, particularly those involving technology and cryptocurrency. He regularly handles matters involving B2B disputes, shareholder agreements, minority oppression, directors’ duties, and employment issues. He appears:
- at all levels of the Supreme Court and State Courts of Singapore;
- in international arbitrations, having handled arbitrations seated in New York, Vietnam, and Singapore (involving parties from the Cayman Islands, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Vietnam); and
- in mediations for international and domestic disputes.
Khelvin is a Co-Vice Chairperson of the Advocacy Committee of the Law Society of Singapore. He regularly conducts advocacy training as lead trainer, has conducted training overseas, and is also involved in train-the-trainer sessions.
Khelvin is a by-invitation-only Specialist Mediator empanelled with the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC), and is a certified Mediation Advocate under the International Mediation Institute.
Khelvin is also a Council member of the Law Society of Singapore, and authors the “Legal Profession” chapter for the Singapore Academy of Law Annual Review of Singapore Cases.

Pei Tong leads the M&A and Capital Markets practice at Covenant Chambers. He spent over 8 years at two of the Big Four firms, where he was a director specialising in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. His pedigree includes being part of a formal law alliance with a leading global firm, providing him with an exposure to both local and cross-border transaction structures.
Pei Tong specialises in corporate finance, corporate and commercial transactions in Singapore and in the region, including listings, equity and debt issues, reverse takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments.
Pei Tong’s practice areas include advising companies listed on the Singapore Exchange in relation to their continuing listing obligations and corporate actions such as dual listings, acquisitions and disposals, share schemes and buybacks, interested person transactions, and corporate restructuring exercises. He also regularly advises on employment, data protection and other regulatory compliance matters. A versatile individual, Pei Tong also has extensive experience in both private and public merger and acquisition transactions in Singapore and the region, having acted for bidders, target companies and financial advisers in such transactions.
Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, Pei Tong is uniquely positioned to navigate cross-border deals and communicate seamlessly with clients across different jurisdictions.

Huai Yuan handles a broad spectrum of civil, commercial, and criminal matters. In the field of litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, Huai Yuan has represented clients in all levels of court and in arbitration proceedings. He has acted on and has advised on matters concerning partnership and shareholder disputes, fraud, digital assets, cryptocurrency, debt recovery, breaches of contract, breaches of directors’ duties, claims for breach of trust, property disputes, labour and employment disputes, non-compete disputes, misuse of confidential information, and professional negligence. His practice also includes acting for individuals and institutions in relation to criminal matters and investigations. His clients include MNCs with regional offices covering the APAC region.
Huai Yuan is personally distinguished by market recognition. He has been named one of Asia’s Super 50 dispute resolution lawyers and a Rising Star by Asian Legal Business. Huai Yuan’s current success is built upon a prestigious foundational career. A First Class Honours graduate from the National University of Singapore, he was handpicked to serve as a Justices’ Law Clerk to the Chief Justice and Justices of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He also served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel at the Attorney-General’s Chambers, where he handled financial and technology-related crimes. In 2018, Huai Yuan was appointed onto the Singapore Supreme Court’s panel of lawyers (known as young amicus curiae) tasked with assisting it on select cases involving important questions of law concerning the public interest. He is effectively bilingual and fluent in both English and Mandarin.
