Timothy Wu is a seasoned legal advisor and Commissioner for Oaths, widely recognised for his expertise in cross-border probate, corporate law, and MAS licensing in Singapore. With over 15 years of experience in private practice and senior in-house roles at multinational corporations, Timothy leads LP Law Corporation’s high-stakes work in complex estate and commercial matters across jurisdictions. His ability to navigate intricate, multi-jurisdictional legal issues has earned the trust of clients across Southeast Asia, Australia, China, Hong Kong and beyond.
A law graduate of Murdoch University, Australia, Timothy also holds a Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Training Academy (ICTA) and is a certified Chartered Secretary and Governance Professional under the Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore (CSIS).
His practice areas include corporate law, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, financial licensing, and family law, including divorce and probate matters, particularly cross-border probate and resealing cases. Known for his strategic and client-focused approach, Timothy has advised executives, managed complex legal and compliance projects, and navigated issues such as mergers and acquisitions, contracts, data privacy, and intellectual property across Southeast Asia.
