General Information about the Training Contract
We are a boutique law firm with a growing private client practice, including family and matrimonial law, estate planning, and inheritance disputes.
A significant portion of our work involves cross-border matters between Singapore and China. We regularly work with PRC counsel and advisers. Suitable candidates may have opportunities for cross-firm exposure, including exchange-style training opportunities with China law firms, depending on case needs and mutual arrangements.
What you will be exposed to
- Contentious divorce and ancillary matters, including complex asset division and evidence-heavy disputes
- Family-related civil disputes and private client advisory work
- Estate planning, succession issues, and inheritance disputes, including matters with international elements
- Cross-border coordination with PRC counsel on strategy, evidence, and enforcement considerations
Requirements
- Genuine interest in family law and private client practice
- Strong research and drafting skills, with good attention to detail
- Proficiency in Chinese is a strong advantage given the cross-border nature of our work
- Responsible, meticulous, and willing to learn
