We are competent in every area of family law, including annulment, judicial separation, divorce, adoption, maintenance and personal protection applications, Mental Capacity Act applications, cross-border issues such as division of foreign property and child custody issues.

Lee Ee Yang

Beginning his career in one of the “Big Four” firms in Singapore, Ee Yang walked the unconventional path and started a litigation practice in his fifth year of practice. Since founding Covenant Chambers LLC in 2016, Ee Yang has seen his practice expand, with a focus on cross border commercial and property disputes. He strives to raise the legal sector to new heights by leveraging his wealth of experience and passion for advocacy and empowering the next generation of legal eagles.
Ee Yang is a seasoned legal professional with experience in handling family matters. In his years of practice, Ee Yang has successfully represented clients, drawing on his experience in court to resolve disputes related to matrimonial assets and contentious divorce proceedings.
Ee Yang was a recipient of the prestigious Singapore Academy of Law Overseas Scholarship and was attached to Essex Court Chambers, a highly regarded barristers’ chambers in the United Kingdom, working with established King’s Counsels. He was also an adjunct instructor at the National University of Singapore, teaching the Legal Analysis, Research and Communications course.
In addition, Ee Yang actively engages in pro bono work and advocates for access to justice.

Charis Wong

Since joining Covenant Chambers in 2017, Charis has acted in a broad range of matters spanning commercial and civil litigation, and family law. Charis enjoys the cut and thrust of litigation and has argued before the High Court, as well as the District and Family Courts.
Charis has a special interest in family and matrimonial law, and advises clients on pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, divorces, separation, custody and guardianship, maintenance applications, domestic violence, and deputyship proceedings. She also handles disputes between family members over properties, companies and probate and administration matters.
Charis is a firm believer in mediation. She believes in adopting the lens of therapeutic justice in the conduct of her cases, especially in family law cases which often involve powerful emotions and have lasting consequences on the parties and their children, even after the case has concluded in Court.
Charis is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and volunteers in the community legal clinics.

Sara Ng

Sara is a lawyer with a deep-rooted commitment to justice and fairness. Since being called to the Bar, she has been involved in a number of high-stakes legal cases, acting for corporations and individuals in complex civil and commercial disputes, as well as in prosecutions by government agencies.
In her family law practice, Sara represents clients in matters such as divorce, guardianship, personal protection orders, and maintenance disputes. In recent years, Sara has led several complex, high-value matrimonial cases, particularly those involving the division of substantial commercial and corporate assets. Sara has also successfully led several appeals to the Family Division of the High Court, as well as contested personal protection order trials.
Sara is also passionate about pro bono work and giving back to the less privileged and is an Assigned Solicitor with the Legal Aid Bureau and the Pro Bono SG Ad-Hoc Pro Bono Scheme.
In every case, Sara’s goal is to provide clear, strategic, and effective counsel, guiding her clients toward the best possible outcome with resolve and integrity.

Rebecca Vathanasin
