Lian Seng has had more than 24 years of professional experience. His practice encompasses mergers and acquisition (including schemes of arrangements, takeovers, competitive sale processes and acquisition/disposal of shares and assets), corporate finance, and restructuring work. He is recognized for his strong deal-making skills and has demonstrated client skills and technical ability on a number of major transactions in Singapore.
Lian Seng is a founding director of Stamford Law Corporation, and was the senior director of the highly regarded and ranked Corporate and M&A practice group of Stamford for 16 years. He acted in a number of representative transactions in M&A, Capital Markets and Restructuring. In terms of Reverse Takeovers ('RTO'), Lian Seng has been involved in probably the highest number of successful RTOs in Singapore. He has also successfully pioneered other transaction structures to achieve similar outcomes in the Singapore market.
Lian Seng is described as a "strategist and solution provider" by Asialaw Profiles: The Guide to Asia-Pacific's Leading Domestic Law Firms (2015) and has worked on many award-winning transactions. Lian Seng's recent work on one of the largest corporate takeovers in Singapore's history garnered multiple industry awards from The American Lawyer, IFLR Asia, and ALB Southeast Asia in 2014 and 2013. In addition, IFLR acknowledged the complexity and significance of Lian Seng's work with a 2014 Asia Award. He was also named a Leading Lawyer in the Capital markets and Corporate Finance areas in publications such as AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers and was a lead counsel in the restructuring of China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Limited which won the "Singapore Restructuring Deal of the Year" award at the Asian Legal Business Awards.

Leveraging her knowledge of both the Chinese and Singapore legal, regulatory, and business landscape, Dr Qiu works with Chinese clients as well as international clients on transactions within and beyond China. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets related transactions in Singapore, including initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, general offers, major acquisitions, disposal, corporate restructuring, and dual-listing transactions. She assists clients in setting up renminbi (RMB) private equity funds, establishing joint ventures, and acquiring commercial properties and business operations in China and in Europe. In addition, Dr Qiu is experienced in advising corporate governance and compliance matters from the perspective of Singapore laws. She has retained a list of loyal clients engaging her for long-term legal service to ensure legal compliance in Singapore over the years.
Dr Qiu is a dual qualified lawyer - (i) she is a registered foreign lawyer permitted to practice corporate and commercial Singapore law, and (ii) she is also legally qualified in the People's Republic of China. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Shanghainese, Dr Qiu frequently contributes to legal publications in both Chinese and English. She also acted as an interpreter from Shanghainese to English and vice versa for the State Courts of Singapore.
Chongshen advises on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt fund raising, corporate finance and securities regulations.
Chongshen commenced legal practice in 2013 at the Singapore office of an American law firm in Singapore. Prior to joining firm as a Director, he served as an Assistant Vice President of corporate strategy at a leading ASEAN stock exchange with a focus on corporate venture capital investments/acquisitions, strategic joint ventures and fintech partnerships.

Jun Meng advises clients on a wide variety of corporate matters including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, personal data protection and commercial transactions. His experience includes reverse takeovers, secondary post-listing fund raising, regulatory compliance as well as post-listing advisory. Jun Meng also advises on the contractual, regulatory and structuring of digital token offerings. He serves on the Information Technology Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.
