Mr Vijai Parwani
|Vijai Parwani was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1993 after reading law at National University of Singapore. In 1994 to 2001, he started out as a Legal Associate and subsequently made partner at a mid-size firm. In August 2001, he set up Parwani & Co (Sole-Proprietorship) and in July 2014, he incorporated Parwani Law LLC and is presently the Managing Director. Vijai’s main areas of practice are commercial litigation and corporate advisory work and has appeared as Counsel in the State Court, High Court as well as before the Court of Appeal.|
He has been a member of The Law Society Inquiry Panel since 2005 and continues to assist the Panel when called upon. He has sat as Chairman on both the Review Committee and Inquiry Committee as well as appeared on behalf of The Law Society before the Disciplinary Committee and the Court of Three Judges. He is also a member of the Singapore Swimming Club Disciplinary Sub-Committee as well as a Lay member of the Complaints Panel of the Singapore Dental Council and the Singapore Medical Council.
Mr Huang Po Han (Victor)
|Po Han was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and as an Australian Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2017 after reading law at the University of Tasmania. He had completed his Relevant Legal Training and Training Contract with Parwani Law LLC in Singapore prior to being called to the Bar in the various jurisdictions.|
Po Han is bilingual in Mandarin and English. He has an eye for detail in his legal work, and excels at finding solutions to complex legal issues. His experience in the legal industry includes but is not limited to matters in the vehicle financing industry, construction law, arbitration, personal / corporate insolvency and restructuring, as well as other areas of commercial and corporate law.
Po Han is presently a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, the Society of Construction Law, as well as an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Prior to joining the legal fraternity, Po Han was an intern at the Tasmania Ombudsman and had also worked as a private investigator for a private investigation firm. An avid outdoor explorer, he enjoys long cross-border trips on his motorcycles and hikes to picturesque locations.
Ms Lim Shu Yi
|Shu Yi was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2019 after reading law at the University of Bristol. She has trained and worked in a variety of firms in Singapore prior to being called to the Singapore Bar.|
Shu Yi is effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English. She is well equipped to understand your legal concerns and is a keen listener. Her experience in the legal industry has thus far included but is not limited to commercial real estate law, commercial and corporate law, due diligence, compliance, landlord-tenancy work, criminal defence litigation, general civil litigation, insolvency law, family law and mediation. Shu Yi is presently a member of the Association of Criminal Lawyers of Singapore.
Shu Yi also volunteers with the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) in her spare time.
Prior to properly joining the legal fraternity, Shu Yi worked part-time in restaurants in Singapore and in the United Kingdom. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes and helping out in busy kitchens whenever the opportunity to do so arises.
