The Law Society's Practice Directions and Guidance Notes updated in consultation with the Professional Conduct Council in accordance with section 59(3) of the Legal Profession Act (Cap 161, 2009 Rev Ed) are available below. This list makes up the current and complete version (unless expunged) of all Practice Directions and Guidance Notes of the Law Society.

The Practice Directions and Guidance Notes which have been marked as expunged are a result of at least one of the following reason(s):

  • Forms have been made available on e-Litigation.
  • Contents have been covered by the Supreme Court / State Courts Practice Directions.
  • Contents have been covered by current Act(s) / Subsidiary Legislation (including the PCR 2015).
  • Contents have been covered by another existing Practice Direction / Guidance Note.
  • It is no longer relevant to current practice.
