Derrick graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of London in 1983. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1985 and has been in practice for 24 years.
He is both a Commissioner for Oaths as well as a Notary Public.
In the area of Property & Conveyancing, Derrick has:
advised on transactions of private & commercial properties, foreign developments, factories, short & long term leases;
represented financial institutions on home and construction loans, credit & security instruments;
drafted commercial and residential tenancies.
Derrick is an active Council Member of the Law Society of Singapore, having held various posts since1990, including those of Treasurer and Vice President. He is currently Chairperson of the Conveyancing Practice Committee.

Biow Chuan graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1988. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1989 and has been in practice for 20 years.
He is both a Commissioner for Oaths as well as a Notary Public.
In the area of Property & Conveyancing, Biow Chuan has:
represented individuals and companies to buy and sell residential and commercial properties;
represented some major banks in banking transactions;
acted for developers in the sale of properties;
acted for companies in the sale of their factories to REITS;
drafted commercial and residential tenancies.
Biow Chuan is actively involved in both community and church work.
He was elected a Member of Parliament for Marine Parade GRC in April 2006 and is now the Vice-Chairman of Marine Parade Town Council. He is also currently serving as a Lay Leader in Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church.

Hope graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 1985. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1986 and has been in practice for 23 years.
Hope has done general solicitors’ work including drafting commercial documents and personal instruments such as Wills and Powers of Attorney. Her forte is in Property and Conveyancing where she has represented:
individuals and companies in the sale and purchase of residential and non-residential properties (including HDB Resale flats);
financial institutions in the financing of purchases of residential and non-residential properties;
individuals and companies in the refinancing and/or redemption of properties;
housing developers in the sale of properties; and
landlords and tenants in the drafting of tenancy agreements and advice thereof.
Hope has been a member of The Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (SAWL) for a number of years and its president for a year. She is currently a member of the Conveyancing Practice Committee of The Law Society of Singapore.
