Timothy Ng Wai Keong founded Timothy Ng LLC (formerly known as M/s Timothy Ng & Co) on 1 April 2008. He practises commercial arbitration/litigation, focusing principally on contractual, corporate, construction and civil engineering disputes. He also accepts briefs on criminal matters.
Contentious
He has been involved in litigation at all levels and in domestic and international arbitrations. Timothy has acted for and against professional associations in the construction industry in disciplinary hearings as well as for consultants, contractors and developers in construction related disputes, in both arbitration and litigation.
In addition to construction disputes, Timothy has also been involved with corporate and commercial disputes ranging from shareholders and joint ventures to those involving commodities and international trade.
Non-Contentious
Timothy's experience in non-contentious work includes advising on and drafting of building contracts, consultancy agreements and other construction related documents for both local and foreign construction projects.
Others
Timothy Ng has presented papers at seminars and jointly conducted workshops for professional associations in the construction industry. He has also lectured construction law and dispute resolution to postgraduate students on the Masters of Science (International Construction Management) programme at Nanyang Technological University. Timothy Ng is also a tutor with the Board of Legal Education for the Postgraduate Law Course.
Timothy Ng was co-opted into the Alternative Dispute Resolution ('ADR') Committee of the Law Society of Singapore and played an active role towards the Launch of the Law Society of Singapore Arbitration Rules on 1 August 2007. He was Counsel for the successful party in the 1st Arbitration Case under the Law Society Arbitration Scheme.
Timothy is Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, Singapore. He is also a barrister (England & Wales) and a member of the Law Society of Singapore.
