Our Arbitration and Dispute Resolution practice handles a broad spectrum of civil and commercial claims involving both individuals and corporate entities. Lawrence graduated from the National University of Singapore Law faculty in 1989. Thereafter, he joined the Singapore Legal Service and served in various appointments as a judicial officer. Lawrence joined and practiced in Harry Elias Partnership from 1995 to 2003, where he garnered extensive experience in various aspects of litigation.


He specialises in financial and fiscal restructuring, drawing on his expertise in other areas such as corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency and litigation. Lawrence is known for his hands-on advice resulting in practical solutions for clients.

Christopher's areas of specialisation include intellectual property law, income tax, dispute resolution and general corporate matters. He assists clients on branding strategies and provides advisory support to a diverse range of clients. He also manages for a number of clients trade mark portfolios around the world.


Other than trade mark and patent registration work, Christopher is also active in intellectual property litigation. He also has extensive experience in domain name disputes and domain name transactions.


His other areas of practice include corporate litigation, insolvency and general corporate work. He has particular experience in matters relating to the advertising and entertainment industries.


Whilst at the then Inland Revenue Department (now known as the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore), he gained valuable working knowledge of tax administration and practice in Singapore. Since leaving IRD, he has advised clients on numerous tax matters relating to income & corporate tax and GST. He has also advised clients in relation to tax investigations conducted by IRAS. Yeo Soon Keong graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1989. He was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales a year later in 1990 as a member of Grays Inn and was subsequently admitted to the rolls of Advocates and Solicitors in Singapore. Mr Yeo is an associate lecturer with the SIM University and RMIT University and lectures in the areas of Investment and Commercial law. He also holds a Masters Degree in International Business.


He is a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths. Mr Yeo has also been appointed the General Legal Consul to the Korean Embassy in Singapore.


Mr Yeo's main areas of practice are in Matrimonial, Property & Real Estate as well as Commercial.

Chenthil has been actively engaged in the practice of civil and commercial litigation since 2001. Delphine has been engaged in a wide spectrum of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters since 2003. Her areas of practice include cross-border commercial disputes, company and shareholder matters, construction and building-related work, contractual disputes and disciplinary matters.


In addition to her disputes work, she has also been involved in general corporate and advisory work for a range of clients, including high net worth individuals and corporations. Delphine has also spent time as in-house counsel in UBS AG and the Singapore Exchange.


Delphine's experience includes:


  • Acting for a Singapore listed company in a dispute with its Middle Eastern joint venture partner. The dispute involved potential claims of up to S$20m.

  • Acting for an Indonesian company in an arbitration (SIAC Rules) for alleged breaches of a joint venture agreement. The amount of the claim exceeded S$300m and the dispute involved complex areas of arbitration law, restitution and contract.

  • Acting for the claimant in an arbitration (ad-hoc) against a foreign construction consultancy for claims arising out of a consultancy agreement.

  • Acting for one of the shareholders of an international budget airline in respect of potential claims against another shareholder.

  • Acting for the plaintiff in an acrimonious partnership dispute which involved complaints made to the Commercial Affairs Department.

  • Acting for the registered owner of a Singapore property in respect of an application to cancel a caveat lodged against the property.

  • Acting for a medical practitioner in a Singapore Medical Council Disciplinary Inquiry hearing.

  • Acting for an insurance company in respect of claims brought by a policy-holding arising from the alleged misappropriation by an insurance agent.

  • Advising a Singapore regulator on issues relating to structured financial products.

  • Advising a Singapore golfing goods company on various employment-related issues.

  • Advising an airport services provider in respect of potential claims relating to the design and construction of the airport premises.

  • Advising a Singapore company on international trade issues arising out of an investment in Thailand.
