Background

Liew Kai Zee obtained an LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He was admitted to the Singapore bar in 1997. He is a partner with experience in advising financial institutions and borrowers on a wide variety of banking transactions both in Singapore and elsewhere including syndicated lending, structured finance, acquisition, trade and property finance, secured lending, electronic and retail banking, sale of debts and securitisation. He also advises financial institutions on regulatory and compliance matters.

Leon Low

Background

Leon Low was previously seconded to the Tokyo office of Allen & Overy LLP where he worked with ECAs and various Japanese banks and financial institutions predominantly on financing transactions relating to projects and LNG carrying vessels. His experience ranges from general banking and finance, advising on ISDA Master Agreements, vessel and aircraft finance, power and infrastructure project finance transactions, financing structures for mergers and acquisitions to insolvency and restructuring transactions including, restructuring of sovereign debt. Leon’s asset finance experience includes operating, finance and tax lease transactions.

Marilyn See

Background

Marilyn See graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore in 1995 and has an LLM from the National University of Singapore. She is a partner in the Banking practice of Shook Lin & Bok. She has advised financial institutions and borrowers on a wide variety of banking transactions including domestic and cross border syndicated lending, acquisition finance, trade and project finance and secured lending. She has worked on securitisation deals in Singapore involving real property and also has experience in debt capital markets work including stand-alone bond issues, MTN and CD programmes and private placements. Marilyn spent a year on secondment in the Tokyo office of Allen Overy LLP in 2001 where she was involved in international MTN, bond and commercial paper issues as well a number of securitisation transactions in Japan involving a range of asset classes including consumer loans, commercial property, residential mortgages and residential property. She was also involved in a number of credit-linked notes and other structured finance transactions. Prior to joining Shook Lin & Bok, she was with the Singapore legal service.
