MANDATORY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

The Law Society provides mandatory training as required and specified under the Legal Profession Act and the subsidiary legislation for:

• Lawyers who wish to practise as sole proprietors/ partners/ directors of a law practice for the first time

• Lawyers who wish to practise as locum solicitors

• Persons who wish to be appointed as book-keepers of law practices for purposes of the Legal Profession (Solicitors’ Accounts) Rules.
