Ms Winnie Chow
Winnie Chow was educated at the University of Manchester (BA Law and Accounting) and was admitted in Hong Kong in 2001. She is currently a partner with Hampton Winter & Glynn and part of the firm’s family practice, focusing primarily on divorce, matrimonial finance, wardship, Hague Convention proceedings, parental issues and rights.
Winnie is a Committee Member and Treasurer of the Hong Kong Law Association, and member of the Council on Human Reproductive Technology of the Government of Hong Kong SAR. In 2008, Winnie also became a committee member of the Hong Kong Law Society's Family Law Committee. She is also a case reporter of the Hong Kong Family Law Reports and has trained as a Family Mediator.
In line with the recent trend of resolving conflict through Alternative Dispute Resolution, Winnie is currently trying to introduce Collaborative Law to Hong Kong and is the first Hong Kong member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Winnie has further given talks on the Financial Dispute Resolution process under the Continuing Professional Development scheme, and has also participated, on a pro-bono basis, in the hotline for legal advice on family law, organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Lawyers.
