Mr Philip Sim
Mr Philip Sim is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, practising in the areas of family and criminal law as well as succession law and corporate services at his own law firm in Sydney’s central business district. Prior to commencing his own practice he held a position with a medium-sized law firm in Sydney, with responsibility for all litigation matters, including training of staff. Before taking up a career as a legal practitioner, Mr Sim was a Financial Investigator and Regulator with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and served both as a detective in the New South Wales Police Force and as Federal Police Officer.
Mr Sim is a committee member of the Juvenile Justice Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales, a member of the Law Council of Australia, a panel solicitor of the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales and full member of the National Institute of Accountants.
