Ms Michelle Elizabeth Woodworth
After graduating as an external student from the University of London with LLB (Hons) in 1995, Michelle was called to the English Bar by The Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 1996 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1998. Thereafter, she has worked in 2 law firms practising mainly Family Law before furthering her studies in Australia in 2004. Michelle was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in New South Wales, Australia in 2004. In 2005, she continued Family Law practise as a Solicitor in a Family Law firm in Sydney before returning to Singapore to practise in 2006. IN 2007, she set up her own law firm.
Michelle has been a member of The Law Society of Singapore’s Family Law Practice Committee since January 2001. Michelle was involved in the production of a pamphlet for the public on Access of Children and also authored a chapter on custody, care and control and access of children in a book launched in May 2005, entitled “The Art of Family Lawyering”. She has conducted seminars and was awarded a certification in 2002 for Basic Conflict Management Skills Course for lawyers.
