Mr Justice P. Sathasivam

Justice Sathasivam was enrolled as an advocate in Madras in 1973. He practiced in all types of Writ, Civil and Criminal matters, Company Petition, Insolvency Petitions, Habeas Corpus Petitions both on Original and Appellate sides of the Madras High Court. He worked as a government advocate, additional government pleader, special government pleader in the Madras High Court. He also worked as a Legal Advisor for several state-owned transport corporations, municipalities, nationalised banks and others. Justice Sathasivam was appointed permanent Judge of the Madras High Court in 1996. Thereafter, he was transferred to Punjab and Haryana High Court on 2007. He was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India in August, 2007.
