Mr Conrad Campos
Mr Campos has more than 16 years of experience as an advocate and solicitor. He is also a CFA charterholder.
He is currently the Vice President of the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore, one of the largest charities in the social service sector in Singapore and an Institution of Public Character, a Supervisor of Minds Special Education Schools (4 campuses), and a co-founding member and director of the Special Needs Trust Company Ltd.
Between 2005 and 2008, Mr Campos worked with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and the Public Trustee's office on a pro bono basis in conceptualizing and implementing a trusteeship scheme framework to provide trustee services for persons with disability in Singapore. This culminated in the formation of the Special Needs Trust Company Ltd.
Mr Campos has successfully represented clients before the Singapore Court of Appeal and High Court and in arbitration proceedings. His diverse experience stems from a broad spectrum of engagements in matters relating to construction and civil engineering, corporate governance and regulatory compliance, cross-border business transactions, joint ventures, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, insolvency and corporate reorganizations, securities law, and trusts and estates. He also acts in a general advisory capacity for an MNC in Singapore, performing the functions of in-house counsel.
Mr Campos’s other appointments include being a Member of the Mental Capacity Act - Rules of Court Legal Framework Committee (2009), and Member of the Workgroup on Enhancing Financial Security of Persons with Disability under the initiative of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (2006).
