Visvanathan Shekhar
Visvanathan is a Senior Advocate for Supreme Court of India. He studied Commerce before securing LL.B. degree from the University of Delhi. He has Post Graduate degree in Pol. Science, from University of Delhi. Ever since his enrolment, he has been handling cases on Civil, taxation, Information Technology Act, Cyber Law, Corporate Law, criminal, matrimonial, arbitration and constitutional law. He was designated as Senior Advocate in the year 2006. Visvanathan is on the panel of Senior Counsels for the Govt. of India in the Supreme Court and elected as a Senior Member of the Executive Committee of Supreme Court Bar Association of India. He has been a speaker in several International Law Conferences, more recently in LawAsia conference at Colombo and Cambodia. He was invited by the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan to speak at Lahore, Pakistan in 2011. He participated in Law Conferences held in Beijing in Singapore, HongKong and Seoul.
