Dr Gordon Hughes
Dr Gordon practises in the area of e-commerce, technology and data protection. He is a partner at the international law firm, Ashurst, based in Melbourne. Gordon practises in the area of information technology law, data protection law, electronic commerce, privacy and intellectual property rights. He has authored leading texts on technology contracts and privacy law, and has served on various government advisory bodies. He is also a qualified arbitrator. Gordon is a former president of LAWASIA and the Law council of Australia, and is a fellow of the Australian Academy of Law.
