In this talk organised by the Maritime Law Association of Singapore, David Owen QC will focus on whether there are particular strategies to follow, and pitfalls to avoid, in dealing with claims in maritime arbitration. The focus of the talk will be practical, looking at the arbitration process from the perspective of an arbitrator, and commenting on the most effective ways of winning round a tribunal.
