Registration Form for Publicity of Supervised Training
Rule 22 of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2011 ('Rules') requires a Singapore law practice, which intends to provide supervised training in relation to the practice of Singapore law under a practice training contract, to publicise the details of the supervised training -
|
(a) |
on the Internet website, if any, of the Singapore law practice; or |
|
(b) |
on such other Internet website as the Institute may specify in any guidelines issued by the Singapore Institute of Legal Education ('SILE'). |
For the purposes of rule 22(b) of the Rules, the SILE has designated, among others, the Law Society's website as
'other Internet website' for which a Singapore law practice (which does not have its own website) may publicise details of the supervised training: see paragraph 7(a) of the 'Guidelines for Practice Training Contracts' issued by the SILE (effective 3 May 2011).
Law practices that do not have their own websites and wish to publicise details of the supervised training on the Society's website should complete the on-line registration form below. This service is provided free to members.
Vacancies will be posted under 'View Publicity of Supervised Training' for a period of 3 months whereupon they will be removed. You may also contact the Publications Department at 6530 0228 or e-mail
publications@lawsoc.org.sg when the vacancies in your law practice are filled.
