Note: If a law practice is paying its premium by GIRO instalments, it need not complete the space provided for GST in the application form. The Society's Broker will advise the law practice of the applicable GST, when it sends its debit note(s).

Rating Schedules

Index to the Rating Schedules which sets out the sums payable as premium for law firms

Schedule A	Applicable to firms/sole practitioners who have had no claims paid during the period 1.4.2004 up to 31.3.2009.
Schedule B	Applicable to firm/sole practitioners who have claims paid exceeding 50% but not 100% of the total premiums paid during the period 1.4.2004 up to 31.3.2009.
Schedule C	Applicable to firm/sole practitioners who have claims paid exceeding 100% but not 200% of the total premiums paid during the period 1.4.2004 up to 31.3.2009.
Schedule D	Applicable to firm/sole practitioners who have claims paid exceeding 200% of the total premiums paid during the period 1.4.2004 up to 31.3.2009.

GIRO Payment Facility For Payment of Stamp Fees To The Supreme Court

Download GIRO application form for the Supreme Court

Please be informed that the Supreme Court’s Practising Certificate e-Filing System will NOT accept payment by way of NETS Cashcard with effect from 1 March 2003. Law practices are urged to apply early for a GIRO facility with the Supreme Court and to use GIRO to make payment for the stamp fees for practising certificate applications submitted.

Law practices are similarly urged to apply for a GIRO facility with the Law Society for payment of subscription fees and compensation fund contributions. The GIRO facility with the Law Society can also be used to make payment for seminars and other events organised by the Law Society.
