The Law Society actively liaises with courts and relevant authorities on policies, rules, regulations and practice issues across a wide range of areas.
As a member, you have the opportunity to volunteer to serve on one of our practice committees. This is an exclusive member’s privilege, as it allows members to give views on practice and other issues of concern and offers confidential access from time to time to information released to the Society on matters in their formulative stages, which could have a material impact on legal practice and/or the community. This offers a valuable opportunity for members to play a part in shaping policies before their implementation.
